WHAT MAKES OUR CAMP SPECIAL?
We really teach the campers to ride. Every camper's favorite activity seems to be horseback riding! Students receive daily instruction in horseback riding. Side-walkers are available for each beginning student until they are able to control their horses. We own over eighteen lesson horses and they were selected for their gentle personalities. Safety is our ultimate priority. Our programs teach horse safety and build children's self confidence and we have an excellent safety record.

WHAT DO INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED STUDENTS LEARN?
Intermediate and Advanced students study horse health and management, basic horse training, farrier facts, in addition to recieving advanced horseback riding lessons. On the last day the riders participate in a horse show with ribbons and all! Everyone leaves with a prize!

WHAT DO BEGINNING STUDENTS DO?
Students will rotate through different learning centers, being taught how to clean stalls, horse feeding, tacking (putting equipment on the horse), washing & grooming, and identifying the parts of a horse, saddle, and bridle in addition to a daily riding lesson.

WHAT IS THE COST?
The weekly camp fee is $300 of which $150 is required as a nonrefundable deposit. The final $150 is due the first day of camp. Checks should be made out to Circle Lake Ranch, Inc.

WHAT PAPERWORK DO I NEED?
We require the following:
- Registration form
- Medical Form (requires notarization)
- Doctor's Release for Physical Activity dated within the past year.
- Liability Waiver Signed by both parents or
legal guardian(s).
These forms are required the first day of camp.

WHAT ARE THE AGES?
The beginning horse day camp is for ages 6-14. We cannot take children under the age of six.
Our intermediate and advanced camps are for ages 8 - 16.

LENGTH OF CAMPS AND TIMES
Camp sessions are held from 8 am -12noon, Monday through Friday. There is a $10 penalty for late pick-ups.

WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING
Riders must wear jeans and appropriate footwear –paddock, riding, or cowboy boots – NO TENNIS SHOES. Helmets are required for horseback riding, and the Ranch has helmets available to borrow. The riders also need to bring drinks, eat breakfast, and apply sunscreen before coming each day.

CAN I STAY AND WATCH MY CHILD?
Security is important to us. We cannot have parents whom we do not know staying with the children. We have a horse show the last day so your child can demonstrate what they have learned during this time. Our staff is kind, caring and attentive and since our inception we have had no injuries or harm to campers in any way.
